Heartbleed sudah mati?

Sudah hampir setahun blog Virus Technologies belum ada update, sembari menunggu update blog yang akan dilakukan, kita akan membahas tentang yang namanya Heartbleed.

Heartbleed, apa itu? heartbleed merupakan sebuah celah keamanan yang sangat berbahaya pada teknologi OpenSSL. Parahnya, teknologi ini dipakai di semua internet dan salah satu Operating System mobile yaitu Android yang menggunakan teknologi ini.

Pada awal kemunculannya, celah ini telah membuat sebuah tren keamanan internasional. Bayangkan, menurut perusahaan keamanan Errata terdapat sekitar 600.000 server yang rentan. Namun sekitar sebulan kemudian turun drastis hingga 318.239 atau sekitar 50%.

Apakah sudah benar benar mati? Tentu belum, menurut Techcrunch, dalam kurun waktu sebulan hanya ada sekitar 3% perbaikan pada server yang rentan, artinya ada 309.197 server yang masih rentan terhadap Heartbleed, dan ini membuktikan bahwa Heartbleed belum benar benar mati.

Google Mendeteksi Komputer Bervirus

Google, si mesin pencari raksasa terbesar didunia ini kini lebih selektif dan lebih aman, pasalnya Google akan memberi peringatan jika komputer yang membuka Google terdapat sebuah virus.

Pemeliharaan rutin yang dilakukan pada salah satu data centre Google mengungkapkan adanya traffic yang tidak biasa dari komputer yang terinfeksi software jahat.

"Traffic tersebut dikirim ke Google melalui server komputer intermediary yang disebut 'proxy'," kata Security Engineer Google Damian Menscher.

Karena itu, Google mulai mengirimkan pesan peringatan di hasil pencarian bagi komputer yang terinfeksi virus. 

"Kami harap dengan memberitahukan pengguna bisa membantu mereka mengupdate antivirus mereka dan menghapus infeksi virus," kata Menscher.

Dia juga menambahkan, Google menggunakan informasi yang dikumpulkannya untuk membantu sebanyak mungkin pengguna komputer agar terhindar dari virus.
